Senior Product Engineers/Architects

The Magoo Software Dublin office is currently hiring experienced Java engineers and architects to work on the MagooClient product set.

 

 

About Magoo Software

Magoo Software develops leading-edge Java desktop technology for human interaction within XML architectures based on SOA and WS-BPEL. We also offer consultancy services to develop custom solutions based on this technology.

 

Role

You will play a leading role in the development of Magoo Software products and customer solutions. This is a unique opportunity to join a product development organization at an early stage.

 

Skillset

Candidates should have worked in a technical lead role and should be capable of owning the entire development storyboard from specification through design, implementation, test and release. Previous product development experience would be an advantage.

 

An honours degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline is required.

 

As with everything we do at Magoo Software, this is a customer-facing role so excellent communication and people skills are essential.

 

Experience

This is a senior position so a minimum of 7 years development experience is essential. Of that at least 5 years Java/J2EE and 2 years XML/Web Services are also required. In addition, specialist experience in one or more of the following areas would be a definite advantage:

We are currently offering 3-6 month contracts with the possibility of contract extension or a full-time position. We're looking for the very best candidates and offer excellent contracting rates accordingly. Magoo Software is based in Dublin city centre within 5 minutes of St. Stephen's Green (Harcourt Luas).
