Next Generation Magoo Products Announced

Major upgrade to MagooClient and the new MagooServer message store significantly enhance message-handing performance and scalability

 

Dublin, Ireland, July 26, 2010 – Magoo Software today announces new versions of its MagooClient® and MagooServer® product line. Demand for larger deployments involving multiple users and high message volumes have led to an upgrade of the MagooClient to avail of commercial database technology in addition to the launch of MagooServer, a central message store to facilitate collaborative message handling. The list of new features includes:

 

gear Fourth Generation MagooClient upgraded to use RDBMS for high volume message storage. The persistence layer can be configured to use either an embedded HSQL or external MySQL database for larger deployments. MagooClient now provides a paginated view onto message folder lists to faciliate faster loading and navigation of message details.

gear New MagooServer product supports centrally hosted message boxes for collaborative, multi-user message processing. Support for hierarchical user groups allows message access to be tailored to an organization hierarchy. Secure Web Services allow MagooClient to communicate with remote MagooServer instances using standard HTTPS connections while full remote management capability is provided via the MagooServer console.

gear New Task Management capability to support efficient and timely message processing. Task management capability such as assignment, deadlines, alarms and reporting are fully supported.

gear Additional transports to support direct interaction with RabbitMQ and WebSphere MQ providers. No JNDI configuration is required - administrators simply configure the physical queue and broker details to allow MagooClient/MagooServer interact immediately with message queues. The full range of RabbitMQ exchange models (direct, topic, fanout) are supported.
